Flavio Carvalho Shihan, head of ISKK in South America, who has four and a half decades of experience in Karate and is arenowned martial artist of Brazil. He started practicing karate in 1977 under Jose Carlos Moreno Sensei and received his black belt 1st degree (Shodan) in 1983 from Brazilian Karate Federation / AFK.After his years of study in karate, in the year 2019, he was awarded the 8th Dan Black Belt (Hachidan) by ISKK, Japan. Carvalho Shihan is also an official member of some worldwide prestigious martial art organization like International Karate Masters Association, Japan, Dai Nippon Butokukai, Japan etc.

In addition to mastering martial arts, Shihan Carvalho hold a degree in Law and also an author and journalist with official membership in Brazilian Association of Journalists and International Press Association.
